Service Description

Club de Lectura Español. Open group for adult in Intermediate level and up, who want to learn and/or improve their reading and comprehension Spanish skills. Starting from basics, with short and simple reading materials and we will move forward to more classic Spanish Literature from remarkable authors. Meetings are online on Zoom, one hour, once a month to share, discuss, answer questions, etc., regarding the reading materials or chapters that we have previously agreed on. Also, a great opportunity to expand your cultural knowledge, connect with other students, and develop conversational skills. The books will be carefully selected by our team. Topics may vary, but the purpose will be that the students learn from Hispanic culture and enrich their values. Moreover, we will have guests, poets, and artists from Latin America, that will share with the students. This opportunity will unlock access to events and activities. "El Club de Lectura" has a monthly membership that will include materials, podcasts, special events with guests, and many different resources. Some reading materials will be free, but students will need to purchase or rent their books. Normal book prices average $5-$20.
