¡Hola amigos!

My name is Maria Giammattei. I am a Co-Founder and Head Tutor with Spanishtutor4u. A native Spanish speaker from the smallest country in Central America: El Salvador. A devoted wife and a mother of four amazing children. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for almost twenty-five years. We all currently live in California.
Back in my country I went to Law school and became a Lawyer and worked in the field for 15 years. As an associate attorney for an international Law firm, part of my responsibilities, among many, was with legal translations written and oral from English to Spanish.

Me and my family relocated to England, UK where we lived for two years, then we moved to California in 2016. I continued working as a legal translator until several people I had worked with asked me if I could teach them Spanish since in California it is very important to speak it for work and also for family reasons and vacation trips to Latin America and Spain. First I started with one student, then two, then three, and so on until now I feel proud to say that over 35 permanent students, (and counting), trust our method of teaching the language.

I also enjoy music, culture, and literature. Reading in both English and Spanish has been one of my favorite hobbies. Dancing and swimming are part of my daily routine. But what I like the most, is spending time with my family and going on trips and adventures with them.
​
Also one of my specialties has been helping students who take the Spanish subject at school and university. I can modestly say that I have been supporting many students for over four years and the results have been excellent. Having managed to improve student grades from F to A.
​
I have discovered that with patience, dedication, and perseverance, among other virtues, together with a study routine, we are all capable of learning another language. Language is a natural instinct and we only have to activate it to start seeing the results.
​
Now, that I have found a new passion in teaching Spanish as a second -or even third or fourth- language I am committed to helping my students to fulfill their goals and purposes.

¡Hola amigos!
I am your Tutor Luis, with 15 years of experience in teaching business communications at university level in my country El Salvador. My academic background is in communication sciences, public relations, and business. I have worked in different areas and industries such as music, insurance, construction, retail, clothing manufacturing, human resources and customer service.
I am a very fortunate man, married for almost 25 years to my beautiful wife Maria, entrepreneur and founder of Spanishtutor4u and father of four wonderful children. I love music, photography, painting, and movies. Enjoy having good conversations about art. Also a huge fan of sports, especially European soccer leagues and MLS.
Spanish is a very important language specially in the United States where approximately 54 million people speak it, so I feel very lucky to be able to help people learn or improve their knowledge of this beautiful language here at Spanishtutor4u.
I am sure that with my experience we can have so much fun while learning at the same time. Looking forward to helping you with this important decision.

I am your Tutor Carlos,

I am a fortunate person because Spanishtutor4u has allowed me to teach the Spanish language to young people who wish to improve their skills for reasons such as schoolwork or communicating with family and friends who live in other countries. I am currently a sophomore Kinesiology student at California State University at Fullerton.
During high school, I was awarded the State Seal of Biliteracy for being fully proficient in English and Spanish, which has opened doors for me in college and work opportunities. Also played soccer for the school Varsity Team being one of the top scorers!.
I congratulate you very much for the great step you are about to take and I hope to be the person who can help you achieve your goals in this precious language that is Spanish.
